Hello,

I was surprised today to learn that while my internet connection speed tests at around 60Mbps directly through the cable modem, it only tests around 12Mbps through my router, which is a Buffalo AirStation WZR-600DHP running DD-WRT. The router is relatively new and I would think the hardware would be up to routing a measly 60Mbps connection. I get the same speed testing via wifi as wired into the router so I it's not a wireless interference issue.
Now, this doesn't bother me that much in that the speed I get from it doesn't hinder my usage at all. It bugs me a little but not enough to do anything drastic like replace the router.
Is the problem most likely software or hardware? Does DD-WRT have known performance problems?

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
